Where can i find good farming/ marketing material to farm neighborhoods?

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

i’m a realtor and nee marketing tools that work (and are free) i just starterd.

something to consider in your approach…when handing out business cards or flyers / direct mail to a given area…be sure to focus on things that are relative to that area. What really grabs peoples interest is when they read about something that is relevant to them…like…the homes in the area rising 10K in value over the last 6 months.

Most realtors tend spend most of their advertsiing time and space telling about themselves. ..which is impoortant to communicate..but not the priority.

be a problem solver…an authority in your feild of expertise….and that is what will attract money to you.

Where is a good online source to learn about the real estate market in Amsterdam Netherlands. Looking to buy.?

Looking to buy in Amsterdam center, canal house flat and want to learn the ins and outs of the market.

A good site is www.makelaar.com. Its content is also available in English. It´s the site of an estate agent, who is specialised in properties in and around Amsterdam. The site also gives information about mortgages, property valuation etc.
Another website, that might be useful, is http://www.eigenhuis.nl/. Unfortunately, this site is only available in Dutch. This is the site of an organisation, that looks after the interests of property owners in the Netherlands. Maybe you could contact them for more information. The details are:

Vereniging Eigen Huis
Displayweg 1
3821 BT Amersfoort
The Netherlands
Tel. 0031-33-450 77 50

Another useful website, that is available in English, is www.nvm.nl. NVM is the Dutch organisation for real estate agents. It contains some interesting information about real estate in the Netherlands and everything related to that.
I hope this was helpful. Good luck!

Should I and can I fire my realtor?

The market is slow but I don’t see my realtor doing anything marketing-wise to make up for it. She refuses to spend money to market our house in other areas of the vicinity and says the MLS will bring a buyer. It’s been 40 days and no one has called about our house in 2 weeks. We requested that she put our home in local newspapers but she keeps advising against it. If we had activity on our house, I wouldn’t be concerned. But it’s been 40 days and I think we need to change our marketing plan. Our realtor is doing enough marketing, so what the heck are we paying her for? Does anyone have any suggestions? We are paying 2 mortgages now and need to have this house sold. It’s already at the right price too.

Unfortunately the contract has to run out first. Wait til the contract runs out and then try to do a private sale on your own and forget these high paid realtors.

Need to market Real Estate online. What is my best option?

Hi, perhaps you can try Google adwords to market your service/product.

Google adwords is a text-based system for advertising on its site and its partner sites. The service allows you to create your own ads, choose keywords to help match your ads to your audience, and control the cost of your advertising—you pay only when people click on your ad (a cost per click plan). Anyone wishing to promote a product on Google can enroll in this program.

you can get a 5 detail pages information about Google adwords at :

Good Luck && Best Wishes!

New realtor with a question regarding marketing materials….?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

I have looked into a company by the name of Sparrow & Jacobs, just curious if anyone uses any others that are out there? If so, can you list their names please.

p.s. this is for my farming postcards

Thanks

Before you send out postcard, make sure you have a website that people can look you up on. House Diggers is a great place to start, and it is less than $20 a month. You get a unique and easy to remember URL, unlimited listings, leads from your area, and more. I love the work they do!
